My name is Jonathan D. Woodyard, this is my blog, a collection of my art, pictures, designs, short stories, poems, and essentially anything that has to do with my creative side. I am an unlearned novice at all the aforementioned things and am using this blog to chronicle my way to having a better understanding of such things.
My goal is to one day actually profit from my creativity. What would be cooler than to be capable of making an living from what intrigues me?

I was in New Orleans March 2009, this is a picture of a statue of Andrew Jackson in front of the Saint Louis Cathederal in Jackson Square, also known as Place d’Armes, is a historic park in the French Quarter of New Orleans, Louisiana. ( GPS +29.95748 -090.06310 )
The Place d’Armes was the prime site for the public execution of disobedient slaves during the 18th and early 19th centuries. After the 1811 German Coast Uprising, three slaves were hung here. Their dismembered bodies were then used to decorate the city’s gates.
